Hide & Seek Lamp
The hide & seek lamp plays on the intimacy of light and how it is controlled and sculpted by its user. A multifunctional ambient and task light, the clean, utilitarian form and its details are inspired by the driving narrative of veiling and unveiling light.
Encompassing a utilitarian aesthetic and rudimentary mechanical principles, the lamp is made up of a combination of clean, welded extrusions and a tubular light source that can be exposed or concealed according to the user’s desire by a simple aluminium sleeve. A delicately knurled knob at the base of the light is the only celebrated interface, acting as the on/off switch and dimmable control.
